Restorative Nursing Program

Loving Excellence in Senior Care

Rehabilitative or restorative care refers to nursing interventions that promote the resident’s ability to adapt and adjust to living as independently and safely as possible. Focuses on achieving and maintaining optimal physical, mental and psychosocial functioning. A restorative program should be started when a resident is admitted with restorative needs, but not a candidate for therapy, or when the need arises during the course of a stay.

Specific components of the restorative nursing program include:

Range of Motion (passive and active)

Splint or brace assistance

Scheduled toileting

Bladder Retraining

Training and skill practice in:

Transfers

Bed mobility

Walking

Dressing or grooming

Eating or swallowing

Amputation/prosthesis

Communication

Transitional Care Center

Short and Long Term Rehabilitation Center

Our rehab center is staffed with a dynamic and caring team of clinical professionals that work in unison with licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists.

We offer a variety of comprehensive rehabilitation programs focusing on post hospital recovery, orthopedic, neurologic, pulmonary and other medically complex conditions that allow patients to return to their previous level of functioning following an injury, illness or accident.
